Civil / Structural Engineer for a progressive building component manufacturer needed.  A degree in engineering required with 0 to 10 years experience to design our system into concrete tilt-up and precast wall panels.  Must also be capable of reviewing contract documents and have the ability to prepare construction details. Familiarity with ACI and IBC codes is also required.  Must be able to multi-task and have excellent written and oral communication skills. FEA and basic thermodynamics knowledge helpful.  Some travel required.  On the job training will be provided and the successful candidate will be working under a P.E.

Architect

Responsibilities:
A successful candidate will evaluate, investigate, and design solutions for building envelope and insulated walls systems. Work involves primarily concrete structures however a working knowledge of contemporary wood and steel would be helpful. Responsibilities include • Reading and reviewing construction documents and notating areas of concern • Researching technical and code issues • Analyzing thermal data and developing solutions • Preparing and revising project specifications.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or Architectural Engineering, combined with 0-10 years of related experience • Excellent oral and written technical and general communication skills • Some travel • Proficiency in computer-aided drafting software is desired • Interest in system integration and problem solving, rather than in building design.
