Tilt-up construction is an economically efficient way of casting wall panels with Thermomass insulation. Panels are produced on-site by using the building floor slab as the primary casting surface. This eliminates the cost of transporting panels to the site, plus it uses local materials and labor.
Precast concrete sandwich wall panels are produced in a quality controlled factory environment. Thermomass insulation is easily incorporated, and the finished panels can be stacked and stored to wait shipping to the construction locations.
Thermomass insulation paired with modern cast-in-place (CIP) construction results in energy-efficient, load-bearing insulated concrete walls. Thermomass fiber composite connectors and rigid insulation eliminate thermal bridges that are often found in other cast-in-place methods.
