Autoliv Inc. manufactures and distributes a number of automotive safety equipment for automobiles around the world. Autoliv Inc. was started in 1997 as a merger of Europe's leading automotive safety company, Autoliv AB of Sweden, and Morton ASP (Automotive Safety Products), the leading airbag manufacturer in North America and Asia.

Autoliv's Ogden, Utah, plant is a 102,000 SF manufacturing facility. It features a 90,000 SF production area constructed with 23' tall insulated tilt-up panels.

Tilt-up construction was ideally suited for this project's need for an energy efficient facility with interior hard wall construction on a tight budget and construction schedule. The 29,000 SF of panel wall area was erected by the experienced group at Big-D Construction in only five days!

The entire building envelope was completed in a matter of weeks, allowing other trades to begin interior work immediately.
