| Dovex Fruit Company is in the Wenatchee
Valley—the heart of Washington State's premier apple and pear
growing region.
Dovex's warehouse needed to be completed within
a certain time period, and it had to have a controlled atmosphere
suitable for fruit storage.
Using the THERMOMASS Building Insulation System,
this fruit storage warehouse was completed on time and has the ability
to keep the different fruit storage areas at the appropriate temperatures
in a cost effective way.
This 23,470 square foot warehouse also utilized
hollow core roof panels, further proving the versatility of concrete.
"Bethlehem Construction has built our storage
facilities this year and last. The energy and skill they put into
their design, permits and construction, has allowed them to build
within a very tight time schedule. Well done, Bethlehem, "
said Craig Carson, General Manager of Dovex Fruit
There is simply not a more cost effective solution
to high-performance, low-temperature facilities than the THERMOMASS
Building Insulation System.
