| Moses Lake Industries produces
chemicals used in integrated circuit diagrams. The company had the
need for a clean, stable environment for not only manufacturing,
but also storage of materials.
This facility project was ideally suited for the
THERMOMASS Building Insulation System precast sandwich panel design.
The THERMOMASS precast shell provided an energy-efficient, temperature
controlled atmosphere perfect for the intricate work involved in
semiconductor research and manufacturing.
A recent winner of Washington State's Environmental
Excellence Award for the company's exceptional efforts to reduce
toxic air pollution, Moses Lake knows how important a properly insulated
building can be.
"This facility is one of the most significant
chemical plants built in the state of Washington in recent history,"
said René-Marc Mangin - regional director for the Washington
Department of Ecology.
THERMOMASS was able to meet all their needs and
also allow for a cost effective, low maintenance, and energy-efficient
building.
